Program Update
Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day On Wednesday October 9th Vision Zero will be joining our partners at Safe Routes Philly in celebrating Walk, Bike, & Roll to School Day! Students are encouraged to embrace active methods of getting to and from school. Let us show you how simple it is and how much students benefit from getting additional movement in their day.
The benefits of using active transportation to get to school are undeniable. Students who walk, bike or roll have better attendance, better academic performance, better behavior and are happier than students who get to school other ways.
Contact our Safe Routes coordinator at peter.decarolis@phila.gov for more info.
